Confirm the plan before packing
Use confirmed destination and access details, not a hoped-for date. Check mover availability, the scope of packing help, insurance and any building booking requirements. Agree who will be available at each end of the move.

Keep essentials close
Keep important documents private and accessible. Arrange appropriate support for medication and personal essentials rather than putting them in general moving boxes. Choose familiar belongings you want to find easily on your first day.
Leave room for follow-up
Address changes, utility accounts, storage and property tasks may continue after moving day. Write down unresolved items and choose who will help, with your permission. If you are selling, confirm key handover and property arrangements separately.
